HOUSE HOMESTAY
We are opening a window that shows you a breath-taking view of an antique-modern fusion blend with nature’s beautiful colours. It’s in Kerala, so the highlighted colour will be green. This is the Island House, which was built in 2000 by a British national. The nook and corner of this house was touched by a western outlook mixed with Indian heritage. Acquired by Fabin Sebastian. in 2011, the property was originally intended to be his personal residence.Fabin Sebastian and his wife, Geethu Fabin, initially set out to create a unique and intimate living space for their family by planning extensive renovations to transform their property. As the project unfolded, Fabin's vision began to evolve. Later after some years, the heritage property was transformed into one of the most top-rated home stays by 2018 in the state of Kerala. This gem of a place is blessed with beautiful scenery, comforting weather and showcases British architectural brilliance with elements like Chinese-style slanting roofs, colonial structures, and Arabic touches, complemented by imported world-class materials and bespoke wallpapers.
Being a well-known interior designer, Fabin Sebastian, owner of The Island House Homestay, is highly passionate about hosting and hospitality. He majorly aims to create a dream space where guests feel as special and comfortable as they would feel in their own homes.
The homestay will feature thoughtfully curated antique furnishings, bespoke decor, and architectural elements that reflect their designing majesty. Each space is designed in a way that even a simple carving can speak a million words of elegance while also making sure that every guest feels welcomed and at ease.
